The Mayor's Christmas Carols 2022 marks the 11th year of this spectacular family Christmas celebration. It features some of Queensland's most talented singers, like the previous headliners, such as Anthony Callea, Kate Miller-Heidke, Lisa Hunt, and more, performing your favourite Christmas carols.
The event is tentatively scheduled for December 3 from 5 pm to 9 pm, with pre-event activities beginning at 3 pm at Gold Coast Broadwater Parklands. Children will enjoy onsite pre-show entertainment such as Christmas craft workshops, face painting and more. There will also be food trucks and a large carnival and fireworks displays.
The Gold Coast Christmas Parade
Prepare for the Gold Coast Christmas Parade, which will take place on December 4 at 11 am. The spectacular parade includes dance troupes, bands, marchers, cartoon characters, street performers, celebrities, community groups, sports teams, and Santa Claus! The parade will travel 2.6 kilometres along the beachfront Esplanade, from Narrowneck to Northcliffe Terrace.
Carols by the Lake
Don't miss the second Carols by the Lake. Celebrate Christmas at the Waterfront Stage in Varsity Promenade on December 10, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
